Niger State Project Implementation Unit
RAAMP is a donor funded project and a catalyst to enhancing development and growth. The project aims at delivering cost effective road upgrading solutions, particularly on rural roads which has the lowest traffic levels (generally less than 50 vehicles per day) but which play a critical role in accessing remote villages and connecting agricultural plots to markets.

RAAMP Objective
TThe Project Development Objective (PDO) of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project is to improve rural access and agricultural marketing in participating states while strengthening the financing and institutional base for effective development, maintenance and management of the rural road network in Niger state.
What We Do
We enhance transportation conditions and provide sustainable access to rural populations by rehabilitating and maintaining key rural transport infrastructure in selected Nigerian states.
Improve Rural Road Networks
Provision of rural access and transportation system that will facilitate the delivery of agricultural inputs and products.
Support agricultural marketing & logistics interventions
Strengthen the financing and institutional base for rural and state road networks, and support agro-logistics interventions to reduce post-harvest losses.
Strengthening Financial Base
Adopt better technology to scale up rural agricultural production, add value to increase prices of produce, generate youth employment, and reduce poverty and joblessness by enhancing productivity and production.
